Role Summary/Purpose

The Supply Planner role supports a portion of a $200MM custom lighting fixture product line. The Supply Planner will work with a cross functional team in a dynamic environment to supply customers with custom lighting fixtures. This role will own fulfillment metrics for product lines and manage FG inventory levels to meet fill rate targets.
Essential Responsibilities

Opportunity for growth and to lead high profile product lines with strategic customer accounts for the candidate with right level of experience and proven leadership abilities.

In addition, as the Supply Planner, you will:

·  Closely collaborate with Project Management and Sales team to ensure proper inventory plan and ramp up to support key projects

·  Ensure solid collaboration with demand planner to translate forecast into material replenishment plan

·  Proactively lead cross functional teams when faced with issues that may prevent product shipping on schedule

·  Support NPI launches by developing SC model and stocking strategy and leading transition of next generation product launches to minimize obsolescence while meeting service targets

·  Manage expectations on product availability and communicate clear ship schedules

·  Communicate clear ship schedules with domestic and international internal customers and coordinate shipment priorities with DC

·  Proactively communicate to Sales team potential risks to meeting customer requirements

·  Coordinate production priorities with manufacturing plants and key vendors to meet customer expectations

·  Effectively weigh tradeoffs on inventory and service to support Major and Mega project opportunities

·  Align SC model and stocking strategy to support demand plan

·  Manage suppliers of sourced finished goods to support orders, forecast, and inventory targets

·  Evaluate and manage expedite requests from commercial team

·  Provide guidance to customer service team regarding sales order issues

·  Drive simplification and standardization through existing SC processes, SAP, and BI reporting

·  Set and maintain master data in SAP

·  Provide work direction and training to other support personnel
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline from an accredited university or college

·  A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Supply Chain (Material, Planning, Buying / Procurement, Production Scheduling, Sourcing), Supply Chain with Finance and/or Engineering experience

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):

·  Ability and willingness to travel as required to meet the needs of the business
Desired Characteristics

·  5 years previous experience in fulfillment / supply chain roles

·  5 years of experience using MRP System, SAP experience preferred

·  Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing

·  Experience in electronics manufacturing industry

·  Experience working with Asian vendors

·  Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and drive resolution to meet supply chain deliverables

·  Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
