SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST

The Continental European Supply Chain team works with Amazon's Fulfillment Centers (FC), Transportation, Customer Service, Retail and Finance teams. The team provides business expertise to exceed customer expectations while minimizing end-to-end supply chain costs.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate, results-orientated and data-driven analyst able to drive business change in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and business partners. The successful candidate will lead one of the functions in the UK Supply Chain team, for which she/he will own Supply Chain strategy and execution. The Supply Chain Team leads Inventory Placement, Capacity Planning, S&OP, Inbound vision and Supply Chain Analytic. This is a highly visible position that is critical to the company's operations management and forward capability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You own the Supply Chain aspects of the launch of a subset of buildings, and you will:
· Prepare the strategy of inventory ramp-up, using data mining and simulation tools
· Identify risks related to the launch on the rest of the network and propose mitigation plans
· Coordinate the supply chain configurations plan
· Execute the launch with inventory transfers and network configurations

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Attention to detail and high ability for data mining
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Understanding of SQL
· Excellent Microsoft Office/PC skills, including strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA
· Degree in analytical field
· Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations
· Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, project management experience or qualification
· Experience in Supply Chain/Transportation
