Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for working independently on information development projects. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content. Contributes to larger team on projects as needed.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Outstanding writing skills, namely a command of grammar, syntax, diction, and the conventions and best practices of writing a variety of technical documents  
·  Strong collaboration skills: ability to work with a variety of other writers and cross-functional peers easily  
·  Strong knowledge of core technical communication concepts, such as topic-based authoring, minimalism, task-oriented design, single-sourcing  
·  Understanding of core information development processes: content planning, content creation, content review  
·  Strong skills in the process of breaking down software processes into tasks necessary to the targeted user and effectively explaining those tasks to the user  
·  Provide Endpoint Engineering Support and Service Desk Support as a key technical team member
·  Coordinate with members of the larger IT support team on cross-functional projects and deliverables
·  Facilitate development and management of technical road maps and project plans for the team
·  Collaboratively manage workflows and processes within the Endpoint Engineering team to optimize efficiency while maintaining security standards and service quality
·  Collaboratively manage desktop , laptop, tablet, VMs, or other endpoint systems and devices and make recommendations for future upgrades
·  Collaboratively manage image and patch deployment using centralized enterprise desktop management systems
·  Install, configure and troubleshoot software packages, including operating systems and commercial software
·  Monitor systems to ensure security, availability and performance
·  Use excellent customer service skills to build service-based relationships with IT customers
·  Act as primary escalation point and support within PC Service Desk Support team
·  Evaluate tickets for ongoing performance improvement opportunities and reduction of endpoint incidents
·  Ensure documentation is complete for tickets and projects
Qualifications/Requirements

·  considerable experience providing desktop computing support, in a complex environment
·  Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a relevant discipline (information systems, computer science, or engineering, etc.) or equivalent knowledge or experience. Additional relevant technical experience may substitute for a degree. 
·  Expert knowledge of electronic software distribution and configuration tools 
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
