Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for installation, architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of various components of multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment. S/he provides support for escalated application issues, including diagnosis and resolution of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity ensuring the root cause of the problem is addressed.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Area of expertise is Oracle Fusion or EBS R12 SCM, with very good understanding of Purchasing, Sourcing, Inventory, Contracts, Distribution, Costing, SLA 
·  Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in solutions. 
·  Primary responsibility is day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking and resolution. Cooperation in developing system functionalities, upgrades, modifications, support stability of the environment. 
·  Assist with businesses to understand user requirements, develop process modelling. 
·  Contribute to design discussions. Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.  
·  Write functional specifications in detail, understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between processes, functional modules. 
·  Support minor implementations, perform configuration, testing, fixing, training, change requests, enhancements, new functionality implementation or re-engineering as needed. 
·  Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members across functions and sites.  
·  Promote transparency by proactively sharing design choices with appropriate audiences, with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.  
·  Demonstrate expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements and their priority within the backlog.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Professional degree coupled with solid Technology and Business Process experience 
·  Exposure to Industrial businesses is a big plus. 
·  Experience contributing to a full-lifecycle project (either core model definition or ERP worldwide roll-outs) 
·  Experience working with off-shore team (development or application support) 
·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
·  English and German language skills are required

·  Awareness of ITIL or similar IT processes

·  Experience in operational support is an advantage
