Role Summary/Purpose

The individual will be responsible for designing and automating test scenarios for cable less patient monitoring sensors and wireless device. Responsibility includes understanding requirements, designing test cases, automating the tests, developing keywords, executing the tests, peer review of tests case/scripts, raising defects. Should have a passion to automate requirements for an embedded device.
Essential Responsibilities

• Include strong focus to Test Automation in the product/platform test strategies
• Provide estimates for tasks related to manual and automated testing
• Analyze requirements and report out automatable/not automatable
• Peer review of test cases and design
• Excellent knowledge on Python and Robot framework
• Able to design Python libraries, Robot keywords and test scripts.
• Should have good knowledge on integrating, testing and debugging embedded devices
• Prepare test setup required for Test execution
• Execute automated test cases. Review, Triage, Report and/or fix issues arising out of nightly build
• Communicate effectively in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, global environment
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science
• 3 to 6 years of experience in manual verification and Automation
• Robot framework: Outstanding skills and proven track record
• Excellent knowledge in Python programming
• Knowledge of Git/Gerrit
• Experience in developing on Linux environment
• Hands on experience with HW installation/ debugging
• Very good knowledge of software testing methodologies including manual and automated testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong in English, both written and verbal
Desired Characteristics

• Highly familiar with quality system requirements for Medical device Design Controls/ Regulatory requirements
• Understanding of human physiology, clinical parameters and patient monitors
• Familiar with Virtual Box, Rally and HP-ALM
• Exposure to Frologic Squish automation tool
