Role Summary/Purpose

The Service Productivity Analyst Intern will be part of the Turbomachinery & Process Solution (TPS) Services Productivity team. The ideal candidate will work on the Service productivity optimizing budgeting processes as well as the cost execution. The candidate will also foster the cost management culture within the Service organization and will support the Vendor recovery process for TPS Service Contracts.
Essential Responsibilities

The essential responsibilities of the Service Productivity Analyst Intern will be the following:

TPS Service Productivity initiatives:

·  Support productivity culture divulgation among TPS Service organization

·  Support the Productivity Manager in the collaboration with Regions, Centre of Excellences (COEs), Engineering and Product Leadership to develop productivity pipeline (through ideas generation events and ideas collection process) and prioritize investments

Cost execution management:

·  Vendor Recovery: scout the vendor recovery opportunities, support the back charge dossier development and keep sourcing engaged during the supplier negotiation

·  Provide visibility to operational teams on the progress of productivity actions and drive regional implementations, if applicable

·  Collaborate with COE's to translate output productivity targets into input targets

·  Partner with the Risk team to run sensitivity analysis on productivity actions

·  Collaborate with Engineering and Risk to assess possible impacts of the technical letter identifying mitigation actions and/or productivity opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements

·  MS Degree in Engineering or Finance from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or work experience

·  Strong knowledge of Project Management and/or Quality

·  Very Strong Excel and IT skills

·  Able to work with cross-functional teams

·  Positive personal traits would include initiative, pro-activeness, enthusiasm, passion and time management skills

·  Good verbal and written communications skills

·  Fluent English and Italian

·  EU work permit
