Role Summary/Purpose

The intern will be exposed to GE’s corporate environment and working culture. In particular, the resource will work closely with the European Risk finance team of GE Power Services, and will interact with a wide range of stakeholders across all functions, in particular Operations, Commercial, Sales and HQ Finance.
Essential Responsibilities

The resource will support the European Risk Finance team during the review of critical contract renegotiations, language review, ad-hoc reviews on customer exposure & regional market dynamics.

• Review deal financials and risk/returns balance
• Weekly pacing of key financial measures linked to ongoing renegotiations
• Run portfolio analytics on a $3B billing backlog
• Manage growth projects with multiple stakeholders & strict timelines
• Be an active part during risk reviews of the portfolio with analytics
• Propose/start/lead process improvement initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements

• MSc in Economics/Business Administration/Finance
• Fluent in English
• Strong MS Office Excel skills
• EU Work Permit
