Role Summary/Purpose
The New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing Focal Point demonstrates leadership in managing the introduction of new programs into operations from a Sourcing perspective controlling both costs and on-time performances. Reporting in front of Program Organization Leadership, she/he will follow the program toll-gates to support the launch of different Programs.
This is a fixed term position, due to the temporary replacement for a maternity leave.
Essential Responsibilities
Her/His role, responsibilities include:
· Coordinating Sourcing specialists dedicated to the programs
· Support the Program to have the bill of materials up-to-date and relative technical specifications available
· Define objectives with the Program team (Cost and Gantt)
· Review on a regular basis the status of the Program in order to timely support it
· Establish a regular rhythm with the Commodities to develop the strategies to get to MTC and Gantt Program dates
· Review and Support the Sourcing Commodities in all key negotiations to achieve the MTC
· Periodically report to Program Leadership the status (Cost and Gantt)
· Coordinate with Readiness Team the Program readiness
· Plan and organize the work to achieve an operational level and rhythm
· Have Readiness, MTC plan, delivery performances up-to-date to support Customer needs and meetings
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
· Ability to build connections and establish credibility quickly with key stakeholders internally and externally
· Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations functions
· Fluent in English and Italian
· EU Work Permit required

· Previous experience as Focal Point for commercial activities;
· Experience with suppliers’ development and delivery management
· Project management skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and driving skills
