Role Summary/Purpose

Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant purchasing and sourcing concepts.

·  Initial Investigation and summary
·  Quality Alert and Survey authorship, distribution and issuance
·  Tracking and Closure

·  Supplier Communication

·  Distribution of newsletters and other communication

·  Functional owner of eCAV
·  Access Requests
·  Technical Support

·  Approver / Administrator for Source Profile

·  Supplier Quality Administration
·  Support Central Supplier Support Portal
·  Indirect Sourcing Quality Support Central

·  Aerospace Initiatives Project Support

·  Chemical Control Focal
·  Shop Support
·  Integrator Oversight
·  Specification interpretation

·  Compliance Investigation Support
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing)

·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
