Role Summary/Purpose

The Lead Cyber Security Consultant – Services has the mission to support Grid Automation (GA) Services growth through building a competitive portfolio of Cyber Security as a Service offerings meeting customer needs, with differentiated delivery model and an effective go-to-market strategy.
This role reports to the GA Global Services Leader
Essential Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and delivery of competitive Cyber Security as a Service offerings to support targeted growth
• Define cyber security architectures; perform cyber security audits and risk assessment; provide training for internal and external customers; write and participate in acceptance tests; troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions
• Position herself/himself as cyber security trusted advisor for GA customers
• Participate in the development of Cyber Security as a Service value proposition
• Engage with customers globally to validate value assumptions and refine offerings
• Engage with industry cyber security partners to build offerings with speed and at scale
• Design and build the infrastructure required for internal offerings validation and customer remote support
• Provide technical expertise to the projects organization as required
• Influence future GA products cyber security features based on learnings
• Provide thought leadership for GA Services vertical team
• Stay current with Cyber Security standards evolution, industry trends, customers’ expectations
• Ensure contemporary tools and processes are used to support Cyber Security offerings deployment; build Cyber Security Labs
• Partner with GA Cyber Security mission-based team to develop GA Services competitive offerings and growth plans
• Drive co-creation and collaboration with Grid Generation, Transmission, and Distribution customers. Be at the forefront of the creative engagement that can result in innovative solutions
• Participate in the GA Services Catalog creation and ensure it is clearly communicated within the team and externally
• Understand competitors’ offerings
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber security applications
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems including; user account management, security / system hardening & device control, and patch management
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of network communication protocols including: Modbus, OPC (DA, AE, UA), DNP3, IEC61850 etc.
• Knowledge of cyber asset protection regulations and standards effecting the utilities industry including: NERC-CIP, NIST, IEC62443, IEC62351
• Strong customer service mind-set
• Willingness and ability to travel
Desired Characteristics

• Total 3-5 years of experience in the cyber security space (IT or OT)
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science and P. Eng certification
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of influencing the customer and driving strategic change
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and explain critical issues
• Cyber security certification (ex. ISC2, SANS, ISACA, CISSP) is a plus
• Strong customer service and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong business and financial acumen and operating background
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
