Role Summary/Purpose

The Strategic Marketing Intern will support marketing and product leadership teams with quantitative analysis to frame and size Turbomachinery services market and its correlated products for the Business.
Essential Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following activities:

·  Scouting and definition of the most reliable analytics providers for turbomachinery services (projects, opportunities, customers in the oil and gas market)

·  For upstream, midstream and industrial power generation segments conduct periodic analysis and track macroeconomic and industry indicators impacting turbomachinery services market volumes

·  Study and provide an understanding of turbomachinery services competition product offerings, positioning and moves

·  Gathering of the available information in a common format to reach a homogeneous database to be utilized at different company levels

·  Analysis of turbomachinery services market in order to highlight dynamics and identify possible future opportunities for GE business, through this activity he/she will support sales and product leadership organizations

·  Comparison of the information gathered by public sources with the market feedback provided by geographic areas Sales and Commercial teams

·  Support product leadership in the turbomachinery services product development process providing both market highlight and data and building the value proposition with feasibility and economic evaluation
Qualifications/Requirements

• ·  Mechanical/Energy Engineering or Business Master Degree

·  Excellent financial and analytical skills with advanced computer skills

·  Excellent Excel and PowerPoint, and a proven ability to build robust economic models to evaluate deals and quantify risks and value optionality

·  Tenacious and results orientated respecting the timing, strong team player

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident and articulate

·  Ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships

·  Data mining skills and capacity to express reality through models and the other way round

·  Fluent in English & Italian

·  EU work permit
Desired Characteristics

·  Knowledge of the Oil&Gas business

·  Knowledge of Tableau application is an advantage
