Role Summary/Purpose

This role will be pivotal in supporting the HR Projects in Power business primarily supporting HRDF training grants/claims and employee engagement initiatives in Malaysia which includes integrating and develop HR processes and strategies, analyze data and drive HR projects that meet needs across the business in country. The role enables operational excellence, visibility to financial & other key HR metrics.
Essential Responsibilities

• Administer overall training execution both internally and externally, responsible for HRDF administration for all GE business in MY
• Partnering with executive universities to ensure branding and university relations programs are aligned with organizational strategy and pipeline planning
• Support employee’s engagement events and support line managers in the business unit
• Supports managers in new employee induction and business specific events
• Organize all logistics (facility, catering, materials, LMS etc.) linked to offering courses
• Communicate course information to participants and address their queries in a timely manner
• Actively advertise course schedules through different channels and be an ambassador for all learning opportunities in the region.
• Manage vendors & procurement process (adding to new vendors, payments, reconciliations) in a timely and compliant manner.
• Manage internal financial processes (billing to participants, accruals, other reporting) in a compliant and timely manner.
• Leverage existing tools and resources to accurately record and track completion of key performance indicators.
• Partner with the region and extended team members on key initiatives and projects
• Overall monitor key metrics and data points (course enrollment, costs, liquidations) and flag trends for decision making
Qualifications/Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pyschology and/or Human Resources from a local or internationally recognised university
• 1-2 years of experience in Learning and Development and/or HR Operations role/Student Ambassador
• Strong communication skills & knowledge of local language to work with business leaders, and a broad range of training administration and delivery vendors
• English language proficiency
• Strong client service orientation and passion for problem solving
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Familiar with Social Media platform
• Recent graduates may also apply
