Role Summary/Purpose
Located in Cleveland, OH, the Human Resources Co-Op position will support the HR team by executing our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and drive HR functional excellence and process improvement.
· May 2020 - December 2020) Co-op must be available to work throughout the duration of the program.
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, as the Human Resources Co-Op, you will:
· Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues
· Escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners and or HR Managers
· Collaborate with the HR managers, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Labor & Employment on specific activities and tasks
· Actively support HR initiatives (including but not limited to awarding, engagement, talent development
· Support identifying recruiting needs, facilitate screening, testing and selection of applicants with leaders
· Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
· Must be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college / university program pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
· Current Junior or Senior classification in Bachelor's program or Master's standing who has completed at least one previous co-op or internship
· Must be in good academic standing, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
· Must be able to work during the semester for 6 months
· Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
