Role Summary/Purpose

You will be part of GE’s Center servicing different GE businesses throughout Europe. In this 6-12 months’ internship assignment your focus will be providing support for HR Managers – Global Operations Center, Budapest on various HR processes in a truly international environment.
Essential Responsibilities

Among all HR areas the HR intern is mainly going to work on the following tasks:

Handle employee questions, queries
Manage job postings and onboarding of new employees
Work with HR Operations team to have updated employee data with regular quality checks
Support HR administration tasks, manage contract and organizational changes
Initiate employee life-cycle event administrations
Support off-boarding process
Contribute to preparing policies and procedures
Tracking recruitment process and updating systems
Support training deliveries, administrations

Qualifications/Requirements

Able to work at least 32 hours/week
Ongoing College/University studies or just finished College/University on Economics / Psychology / HR
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Hungarian
Fast learning skills
Great communication and relationship building skills
Independence and self confidence
Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, PP, etc.)
Desired Characteristics

Interest in HR profession on the long term is an advantage
Previous work experience in a multinational company/student organisation or HR

Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
