Role Summary/Purpose

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for People Leaders and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. You will execute our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. You will also act as the HR manager of record for a client group.
Essential Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for HR related queries from clients in Krakow 
• Manage all steps of the “Employee-Life-Cycle” - from recruiting to processing payroll and benefits data (data entry for time and attendance reports; personnel transactions such as new hire, termination, leave of absence, benefits deductions) 
• Ensure accurate data quality for audits and reporting; 
• Support for foreigners in terms of work permits, registration of stay in Poland 
• Support Compensation & Benefits initiatives 
• Develop engagement plan for local site including learning & development opportunities 
• Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment 
• Participates in HR projects and initiatives for both our Krakow site and the Polish team 
• Be an active member of the Polish and Eastern European HR team

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Fluent English & Polish languages 
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline in which business knowledge and an understanding of human resource practices are gained 
3. Good understanding of Polish Labour Law and Payroll rules 
4. Passionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeed 
5. Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels 
6. Desires employee-facing work; willingness to make horizontal moves to develop HR expertise 
7. Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness 
8. Excellent interpersonal skills;
