Role Summary/Purpose

This is a 12-month fixed term contract role with GE Sensing EMEA, which is part of Baker Hughes, a GE company. We are looking for an individual interested in pursuing a career in the Materials/Supply Chain field. If interested, please apply with cover letter and CV by May 18th 5pm GMT.
Essential Responsibilities

• Part of Value Stream Team, for Oil and Gas Products
• Run and execute Daily MRP
• Support Deflation targets for the site as required
• Ensuring On time delivery is at 95% for our supplier base
• Maintain purchasing parameters for required products
• Reach and exceed inventory target for required parts
• Lead and proactively manage issues related to supplier fulfilment
• Issue Purchase Orders and expedite as required
• Use SAP ERP system
• Analyse purchasing and master data as required
• Meet Value Stream and site purchasing metrics
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
• IIPMM Purchasing qualification or equivalent
• Experience in dealing with suppliers and supplier metrics
• Knowledge/understanding of MRP systems and preferred SAP experience
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good decision-making skills
• Highly motivated and energetic individual with good organisational skills
• Must have valid visa to work in Ireland
