Role Summary/Purpose
Perform complex structural analyses with the aim to develop new products and to support production of existing products
Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will:
· Work with the Team to define possible technical solutions for development of new products or design modifications
· Analyze technical nonconformances on existing components and evaluate possible structural impacts
· Prepare and run proper FE models for requested structural analyses relevant to development of new products or evaluation of nonconformance on existing components
· Analyze technical inputs and results and sustain technical reviews
· Collaborate with suppliers for outsourcing activities
Qualifications/Requirements
· Master Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university
· Proven experience in FE structural analyses (Ansys or Nastran)
· External technical relationship experience
· Technical Accountability/Ownership
· English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral
· PC proficiency
· EU Work Permit
· Interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Characteristics
· Experience in FE structural analyses (Ansys or Nastran) on aeronautic turbine components
· Experience in aeronautical mechanical gas turbine component or module design
· Experience with CAD tools
· Available to travel
