Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for an intern (f/m/d) who will support our Validation & Testing Engineering team in different tasks and projects for at least 4 months, starting in autumn 2019.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Market & state of the art studies for measurement systems to detect blade deflections.
·  Compare different systems and providers with regards to costs/benefits and accuracy.
·  Develop GE requirements for commissioning providers and carry out recommendations.
·  Commissioning of selected providers and installation of measurement equipment.
·  Data analysis, reporting and system comparison.
·  General support of Validation team activities as fits to schedule and where intern is interested.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Master Student in an engineering discipline
·  Experience with sensor technology and other measurement equipment
·  Knowledge in aerodynamics
·  Experience with some programming languages 
·  Strong oral and written communication skills in both German and English language
·  Willingness to travel to wind turbine site
Desired Characteristics

·  Experience with imc FAMOS or MATLAB
·  Prior Experience in renewable industry
