Role Summary/Purpose

The Electronic Hardware Engineer will be responsible for assigned hardware that includes FADEC control systems and associated engine level electronic hardware components for use in rotorcraft engine controls for customers. You will work with Engine Systems, Quality, Sourcing, and Supplier teams to define requirements, develop, analyze and test proposed designs and integrate components into engine level assemblies, as well as lead field and production investigations.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Execute, with guidance from senior engineering, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements

·  Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers

·  Define and lead development of new electrical hardware, as well as support resolution of production and field issues

·  Define and lead testing of hardware, and document and communicate results of technical data generated

·  Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives

·  Share engineering information and promote open dialogue

·  Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
