Role Summary/Purpose

An Electrical Engineer will be primarily responsible for the development of Digital/FPGA/SoC/Analog based designs used within the GE Healthcare Surgery business. The candidate will work cross functionally within the Engineering Team to develop new electrical designs which will integrate custom and off the shelf technologies. The position requires the candidate to develop, test, and transfer digital and/or analog designs.
Essential Responsibilities

Duties include (but are not limited to):
•Design new products and/or support Installed Base of Analog and/or Digital (may include FPGAs and SoC) electrical circuit boards and components
•Analog/Digital simulation and simulation test bench development.
•Work with customers and/or technical leadership to ensure that the technical deliverables are consistent with the goals of larger programs, projects or initiatives
•Engage in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
•Develop innovative designs to define and meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability
•Define and execute component design verification
•Conduct analysis of installed base and new product reliability using FMEA, Weibull Analysis and DFR
•Work within a team to deliver technical solutions
•Seek mentoring to learn and solve problems
Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
