Role Summary/Purpose

The person in this role will be located at and support the Bucyrus Lamp Plant and report to the EHS Manager for the site.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Participate in Incident Investigations

·  Provide EHS Support to supervisors and hourly workforce

·  Initiate and influence integration of EHS policies and practices into the business

·  Maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements

·  Work with consultants and contractors on related EHS issues

·  Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems

·  Conduct EHS training

·  Integrate EHS function with site operations

·  Develop, implement and maintain EHS programs and projects to aid in assuring compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations

·  Assist the EHS Department in driving the facility towards continuous improvements in EHS measurements including OHSA recordables, regulatory compliance and lost time injury cases

·  Manage the collection, labeling, storage and disposal of hazardous waste

·  Manage the daily documentation of daily of plant air emissions for Title V permit

·  Perform other duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety from an accredited university or college with co-op/intern experience in EHS (OR an Associate's degree in Health & Safety from an accredited school or institution with 3 years of work experience in EHS)
