Role Summary/Purpose

Providing support within a busy Manufacturing Engineering office, the Manufacturing Engineering Support will be responsible for creating and maintaining the documentation required to successfully manufacture components in our Brent Avenue machine shop. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Create part routings which detail the steps required to manufacture components as per the relevant drawings, BOMs and specifications.
·  Create dimensional checklists to ensure all drawing sizes are recorded during the manufacturing process.
·  Collect information on amendments/problems for the machine shop and relaying these to the Manufacturing Engineers to action.
·  Collect information on part run times and adjust routings accordingly to ensure accurate planning.
·  Special projects and ad-hoc duties as required.
·  General company training and online modules as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  The individual will require a high level of Windows & Microsoft Office skills.
·  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications and industry codes.
·  Engineering experience preferable.
·  Good communication skills.
·  High attention to detail and accuracy.
