Our Group Information System department (GIS) is looking for a VIE Business Analyst m/f to be located in Sao Jao Da Madeira, Portugal.
The main mission of the VIE Business Analyst is to be part of Manufacturing domain and support the group in its SAP Core Model implementation.
Please note that applications submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking teams in our plants worldwide. Only applications submitted in English will be considered.
The main missions of the role are:
Act as internal SAP consultant for manufacturing domain : implementation of the corresponding modules/tools in close cooperation with Key User and competence center
Develop and enhance the core system
Write/maintain functional specifications
Support integration activities for data migration, interfaces and data warehouse
Perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems / functionalities, and other post-implementation support
Review existing business process documentation for applicability and modify as necessary
Ensure user training and make sure that tools are correctly used by manufacturing community
Track bug fixing with the competence center or with the editor
Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to participate to the definition of requirements, system goals, identify and resolve system issues
Participate in design sessions regarding new functionalities for the purpose of enhancing business processes and information process flow
The length of the VIE is 12 months (renewable once until 24 months).

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master degree in Engineering or Business School / IT Specialization is a plus
Willingness to learn SAP ERP
Good communication and expression skills in an international environment
Good customer service orientation
Flexibility and adaptability in work approach
Solid written and oral communication skills as well as listening and interpersonal skills
Very good level of English (spoken & written)
Motivation to learn new technologies and manufacturing area
