On Site Technology Support – 12m FTC – Cork

Level: Associate

 

The opportunity

EY Technology manages and operates all the technology we use at EY, providing quality service and business solutions to EY personnel worldwide.

On Site Technology Services (OSTS) sits within EY Technology. We provide technology support to end users in person. We are the ‘face of EY Technology’, engaging with our customers at every opportunity to raise their awareness of the available technology.

 

Your key responsibilities

The role is to provide 2 nd line on site support to the Cork office and also the support of regional offices -Waterford, Limerick and Galway. There would be travel to these offices as required. You will need to have the initiative, drive, motivation and maturity to work in this role with minimal supervision.

 

Skills and attributes for success

·       Resolve Incidents and Service Requests associated with end user software, PC hardware/Macs and Print support

·       Keep customers’ informed on progress of their ticket to agreed resolution. Document all actions in the ticket in ServiceNow app, detailing diagnostic and troubleshooting steps

·       Perform asset management activities (receipt, inventory, tracking, etc.) in accordance with firm policy and process. Assist with provisioning and deprovisioning processing for new hires and leavers. Replacing out of warrantee devices.

·       Assist with projects, including off-site support for firm sponsored events, office moves or buildouts and TechBars (technology showcase).

·       Ensure that all EY Information Security policies and processes are adhered to

To qualify for the role you must have

·      Experience in end-user technology support

·       Experience with supporting and using Windows 10, Microsoft Skype and Outlook, mobile applications

·      Ability to work on own initiative (following processes) but as part of a remote team

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

·      Adept at presenting complex issues simply
