EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

 

Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster, and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

Enterprise Technology (ET) – ET supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. ET will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.  

The opportunity


Be part of the Enterprise Technology Team, On-Site Technology Support (OSTS) providing end users technology support to Singapore Firm. This is a replacement for a junior role with a yearly renewable contract.

 

Your key responsibilities

You will be providing any on-site technology support to the end users in all sites as well as any designated tasks assigned by the Global EY Technology team.

 
 

Skills and attributes for success

·  Teaming skills to successfully work with large, diverse and virtual teams, and ensure delivery across geographical, cultural and business divides
·  Strong analytical skills are required to address end-user incidents escalated from the service desk or offered by end user on walk-up issues
·  Decision making responsibilities are limited to addressing a single end-user issue; need to be able to prioritize incidents being worked on and communicate those priorities to end users as necessary
·  Self-starter and highly motivated
·  Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
·  Excellent customer service attitude

To qualify for the role you must have

·  Basic troubleshooting skill in Windows and Mac Operating System.
·  Worked in an environment using ticketing system eg. ServiceNow Ticketing system
·  Assisted with Technology provisioning of equipment for new joiners eg. preparation of laptops and configuration of mobile devices
·  Assisted with (or coordinates) the repair of end user hardware and the reinstallation of software as necessary to resolve end user incidents
·  Worked with Global Team, operates as “remote hands” for other IT functions
·  Off-site support experience for firm sponsored functions/meetings     
·  Initiative to provides after-hours service for escalated issues 

Ideally, you’ll also have

·  Performs asset management activities (procurement, receipt, inventory, tracking, distribution, etc) in accordance with firm policy and IT Service process
·  Maintains a thorough understanding of IT Services’ organization and service offerings in order to identify how best to address end user technology needs and incidents
·  Business acumen with understanding of the Firm’s business and organization sufficiently to anticipate and resolve end user technology issues that affect productivity of Firm personnel
·  Assisted with IT tasks related to office moves, buildouts and relocations

What we look for  

·  At least 1 year experience in end user technology support
·  Fresh Graduate may be considered
