IT Analyst, IT Advisory (Tech. Consulting - IT V.R.)- Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Analyze business problems and help companies develop and implement information technology (IT) solutions.  Analyze and define user requirements and design, develop, and deploy IT strategies, programs, and solutions focusing on cost, value, performance, and risk related to the delivery of IT services. Ensure computer systems and IT solutions are aligned with clients’ business goals, objectives, and expectations. Advise clients on computing, server, storage, network, and data center issues.  Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
 Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience supporting the delivery or improvement of IT services. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field and 4 years of work experience supporting the delivery or improvement of IT services. 

Must have 3 years of relevant work experience at a financial services company, or 3 years of comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering IT advisory services.

Must have 2 years of experience with one or a combination of the following IT disciplines: architecture, engineering design and development, service design, operations and delivery, disaster recovery, application architecture.

Must have 2 years of experience with at least 3 of the following Technical Competencies:
- IT Strategy
- IT Portfolio Rationalization
- Cloud computing
- IT infrastructure (strategy, architecture, engineering, governance/operating model)
- IT balanced scorecard
- IT process improvement
- BCP/DR
- IT Operations and operating model
- IT financial management and planning and related tools (Apptio or similar tool)
- IT service management (assess, design, build) and related tools (ServiceNow or similar tool)
- Data center operations management
- DevOps

Must have 3 years of experience communicating technical study conclusions through written reports and presentations using tools such as PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio.

Travel required approximately 80%, of which 20% may be international, in order to serve client needs.
