The opportunity

In order to reinforce our Talent Team in Diegem, we are looking for an HR Business Partner. As HR Business Partner, you will be part of the HR BC Team (People Advisors) in Belgium and will operate as the HR key point of contact for your service line.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

·  Employee Relations: you support the employee “life cycle” processes: onboarding, orientation/integration, illness, leaves, internal and cross-border transfers, involuntary departures and exits. You support the termination process by organizing discussions, gathering appropriate documentation, coordinating exit interviews and summarizing any resulting issues. Support the resolution of employee grievances and disciplinary issues;
·  You are the primary connection between Human Resources and the Line Managers and Career Counselors. In this role you provide high quality coaching and advisory services in order to optimize the employee experience;
·  You will facilitate and participate in engagement and people programs and activities, e.g.: employee satisfaction surveys , onboarding program, diversity & inclusiveness programs etc.;
·  You act as role model with respect to change management. You actively contribute to the ongoing transformation of the HR function at EY Belgium.

Your Profile

·  Master degree with at least 5 years of experience in an HR environment;
·  Track record as HR Business Partner, preferably in complex business environments with highly qualified people;
·  You have a good understanding of HR practices and in depth understanding of the HR Service Delivery model with interactions between all actors (clients, HR BC, HR Back Office, ..);
·  You understand your business and its people requirements. You’re able to use data and insights to build convincing arguments;
·  You are able to engage, influence and have impact, listen and communicate effectively. You can build trust and credibility;
·  Excellent change management skills;
·  You are able to take initiatives and work effectively under pressure and in a changing environment, flexibility and dealing with ambiguity;
·  Solution-oriented, hands-on and flexible;
·  Excellent consultant profile (advisory, selling & presentation skills, facilitation);
·  Diplomatic but firm with good negotiation skills;
·  A team player mindset;
·  Trilingual Dutch/French/English.
