Role and team

We are looking for a high-calibre PMO Manager to join the EMEIA Tax team to support the EMEIA Tax Acquisitions Leader.

 

The team is responsible for a number of strategic workstreams set up to deliver competitive growth for the Tax Service Line as a whole and drive client service excellence across our Sub-Service Lines (SSL) and geographies in the accounts we serve and target.

 

A key strategic workstream being driving acquisitions and alliances — otherwise known as inorganic growth. This is part of a critical strategy to help EY Tax achieve our market goals for 2022, accelerating the transformation and growth that will play an important part in our becoming the #1 Tax practice around the globe.

 

The EMEIA Tax team reports to the EMEIA Tax Leader and the EMEIA Tax Deputy Leader. The EMEIA Tax PMO role reports directly to the EMEIA Tax Acquisitions Leader.

 

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of the EMEIA Tax Acquisitions PMO role include:

 

· 
Provide general project management support to the EMEIA Tax Acquisitions leader

· 
Manage the Capital Edge Acquisitions pipeline, liaising with the deal sponsors and other key stakeholders to ensure it is updated regularly

· 
Drive and own reporting in alignment with Global

· 
Support with meeting preparation for key EMEIA Tax forums including the EMEIA Tax Executive Committee, EMEIA Tax Markets meetings and the EMEIA Tax Core Team meetings

· 
Organise and lead regular calls with the RTLs and SSLLs to support and drive their inorganic growth plans

· 
Ensuring regular connectivity and alignment with the Global Tax team and EMEIA CDO

· 
Managing the top-down market scanning process with the Global Tax Knowledge team and the TAS Embryonic team

   Attributes/Skills/Experience:

 

· 
Program or project management experience, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams

· 
Strong networking and relationships skills, an effective communicator with the ability to present, consult and influence at Area leadership level

· 
Ability to take a strategic view and translate complex issues into simple messages / practical action plans

· 
Excellent writing and communications skills

· 
High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· 
Knowledge of the Tax or experience in business development and experience working in a global matrix organization an advantage

· 
Education: Bachelor or Masters degree
