Relevant Experience: 2-3 Years

Job Summary

·  Produces creative layouts and design for client deliverables requiring conceptualization of ideas in preparation of original art for electronic documents in MS Office
·  The designer maintains a high level of knowledge on tools and resources used by the firm and constantly evaluates new technologies and tools for adaptation into the team’s work stream
·  The designer offers conceptual design and production solutions in MS Office with the support of Illustrator
·  The designer manages routine MS Office design projects from concept through production, effectively prioritizes work, and balances multiple priorities simultaneously to meet client commitments and deadlines
·  The designer works effectively in a team environment
·  The designer constantly evaluates new technologies and tools for adaptation into the team’s work stream
·  The designer works closely with the CSG staff, monitoring the workload, projects and reviewing work products
·  The designer responsible for evaluating project needs, estimating and approving costs and schedules, communicating standards, and managing expectations
·  Responsibilities involve seamless service delivery, project resource planning and approval, problem solving, communication with clients and the creation and implementation of processes and procedures

Roles and responsibilities​

Essential ​

·  Responsible for developing designs and innovative ideas for client deliverables
·  Responsible for effectively creating layouts with strong typography and appropriate use of colour, images and fonts, allowing for readability of type
·  Responsible for troubleshooting technical issues in electronic presentations
·  Effectively participates as a team player in planning, scheduling and production
·  Maintains awareness of “state-of-the-art” techniques, equipment, best practices and developments within the design community
·  Responsible for relating design work to the client’s business needs
·  Self-starter with the ability to understand and transform sketches and verbal ideas into PPT
·  Understanding of current and future visual trends and proactive approach
·  Understanding of western cultural development and modern influences
·  Responsible for determining project scope to define cost estimates, and schedule changes for client approval
·  Supports firm brand, understands, implements, and strictly adheres to the quality standards and procedures established by Ernst & Young, including VI and branding guidelines
·  Excellent team working, communication (comprehend, verbal & written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and persuade
·  Interacts effectively and positively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse staff, customers, colleagues and vendors, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
·  May be cross-trained in additional CSG disciplines to provide flexibility during peak times
·  Ability to communicate very well with customer group, work along with the pursuit proposal preparation team

​Desirable ​

·  Trains new employees on CSG Operating Standards, the Visual Identity (VI) standards,
·  Branding and the workflow management tool
·  Pursues and shares best practices within department and among CSG/SSC staff
·  Provides support in recruitment and on boarding processes
·  Performs/Verifies CSG standard electronic file management and archiving
·  Assists the business development teams and acts as a pursuit team member for major projects
·  Develops and maintains expertise in use of the delivery tool
