Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE's Business Units. We deliver services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management, market access management, while contributing to the market understanding, design and efficiency and developing market solutions to accelerate the energy transition.

Context:

The market access services (MAS) team at Global Energy Management (GEM) is in charge of developing real time connectivity to financial markets connectors.

The goal is to obtain real time market data and sending low latency market orders.

The team currently provides these data to various teams inside GEM pour a multitude of uses (automatic trading, trading surveillance, forex conversion..).

Role:

The team is looking for an intern with interest in virtualization tools like Docket and Kubernetes.

The goal of the internship would be to run the Market Access servers in dockerized container.

Internship period : 1/07/2020 to 31/08/2020

Main Activities:

·  Study OS image copying solutions like Docker/Kubernetes
·  Propose and deploy changes to the existing technical framework

Work location:

Courbevoie, ENGIE T1

Education and professional background:

·  Master level 1 with a first experience in Docker would be appreciated

Hard skills:

·  Good programming skills (ideally in C#)
·  Knowledge and willingness to work on Docker and Kubernetes
·  Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell etc)

Soft skills:

·  Be able to work in a team based environment
·  Good Communication and documentation skills

Languages:

·  The candidate should be fluent in english
