Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE’s Business Units. We deliver services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management, market access management, while contributing to the market understanding, design and efficiency and developing market solutions to accelerate the energy transition.

Context:

The Internal Market and Central Execution Desk is a team of quantitative traders whose role is to consolidate and optimize the execution of flows coming from ENGIE’s trading activities.

Working in a fully automated environment, the team is designing trading algorithms and building analytics tools that drive execution strategies.

Main Activities:

The Quantitative Developer will directly work with traders on the desk, while keeping close contact with IT teams.

His objective is to build tactical tools that will be interfaced with the market platforms and the automated trading systems, and that will support the decision making process for traders :

·  monitoring tools for trading algorithms,
·  extraction of large sets of market data and computation of analytics,
·  backtesting of strategies.

Courbevoie, ENGIE T1

Education and professional background:

·  Master level in market finance with a first experience in Finance would be appreciated

Hard skills:

·  Programming languages : Python and C#
·  Quantitative and analytical skills

Soft skills:

·  You meet deadlines
·  You think critically, have analytical and summary skills and can identify malfunctions
·  You are thorough, independent and take initiative.

Languages:

·  Good level of english, French
