ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer (HV) to be based in on the Helix Project, you will cover Newcastle & Edinburgh. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £35,875 - £41,410 dependent upon skills and experience as well as an excellent benefits package.

Supported by a strong operational team, the focus is maintaining and improving the BMS controls systems for the Newcastle Helix and Edinburgh St James Centre Energy Network Schemes. Both contracts involve CHP engines, Gas Boilers and Chillers as a means of supply of heat, electricity and cooling to a range of consumers. The Newcastle Helix has a Private wire HV network.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Carry out the defined planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations within the energy centers and the network substations.

· 
Carry out LV/HV related activities including switching and isolations.

· 
Ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are in place.

· 
Issuing of Permit to Work.

· 
Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on plant.

· 
Attend diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment.

· 
Carry out proactive plant monitoring activities to ensure efficient utilization of plant and equipment

· 
Interrogation of operational information systems to support daily operations as well as fault diagnosis

· 
Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently.

· 
Any other relevant duties that may be required, some of which may be outside normal working hours.

· 
You will be expected to undertake any training necessary to ensure that you are able to undertake your duties effectively.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  HV Qualified Electrical Engineer
·  First Aid
·  Good working knowledge of Risk assessments and Method statements
·  Have experience of Permit to Work systems
·  17th /18th Edition
·  Fault-finding and practical skills
·  Experience in boiler plant and associated equipment
·  Able to work unsupervised and function as part of a team
·  Very strong Excel and IT skills
·  Driving License essential
