ENGIE are recruiting for a strategically focused HR Business Partner to be based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, whilst also covering Healthcare and Education contracts across the North East of England. This is a permanent, full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for the provision of business partner support for people matters, supporting contracts to deliver improvements in culture, change management, compliance and cost control to drive improved engagement and financial results. Primarily you will be based onsite at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, although you will also have responsibiltiy of a number of contracts within the North East of England, meaning travel will be required.

What is your day to day?

·  Coordination of the annual HR cycle, including annual salary reviews, bonus confirmation and performance management
·  Lead for mobilisation projects, structural change and other people change projects across the Region.
·  Ensuring talent and succession plans are in place across the Operating Unit with appropriate development plans that are monitored
·  Advice on final stage grievance and disciplinary action including attendance at hearing as required
·  Compliance checking and review including clearances, adherence to government and process controls and GDPR
·  Analysis of progress against people KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement and monitoring outcomes
·  Establishment control, ensuring all changes are appropriately tested, approved and delivered and to safeguard profitability
·  Coaching line managers in all people processes to ensure best practice and employee engagement is enhanced
·  Continually review personal performance ensuring it meets the needs of users.

Who are you?

·  CIPD qualified (preferably member)
·  Experience in an HRBP role within a unionised environment
·  Track record in HR and change management
·  Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice
·  Commercial acumen and credibility
·  Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
·  Numerate with strong verbal reasoning skills
·  Ability to work to tight deadline and with conflicting priorities
·  Practical approach to problem solving
