ENGIE Solar reports to the Renewables Global Business Line of ENGIE, and is positioned as a global industrial platform supporting the geographical business units of ENGIE to win and deliver solar projects.

With a team of about 200 people present across the world (half in France and other half in USA, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and India), ENGIE Solar plays a key role in confirming ENGIE's position as one of the leading and most innovative PV players in the market globally.

Over time, people at ENGIE Solar have built close to 150 plants and more than 4 GW of capacity. 10 GW of projects are under development, 30 projects are in backlog, 1 GW is in construction over the 5 continents.

Missions

The cost estimator works in close coordination with the Engineering and Purchasing teams and in direct support of Engie Solar's EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) project managers, the main missions of the cost estimator will be :

· 
to establish cost estimates for solar projects according to different scenarios:

· 
by retrieving and challenging the designs provided by the Engineering and consultations/ inquiries established by Purchasing teams

·  by integrating the data into a tool
· 
and by defending the assumptions/results before internal governance bodies

· 
ensuring a balance between competitiveness and the principle of reality

·  to update the costings production tool
· 
to estimate the installation cost on certain projects in the absence of a quotation

· 
to analyze the cost monitoring to capitalize on feedback

· 
continue to update the substation cost estimation tool

Education, Experience & Skills
Pre-requisite
· 
Bachelor's/Master's degree 5in engineering and PV activities will be much appreciated)

· 
3-5 years minimum experience in an industrial project, purchasing, finance analysis

·  numeracy skills
· 
Strong ability to work in project mode and meet deadlines in transverse mode

·  Customer-oriented
·  Analytical, pragmatic, synthetic
· 
Strong resistance to stress in a fast-growing environment

· 
Ability to thrive under pressure to meet challenges and interface all project activities

· 
A good level of English is essential (daily working language)

· 
Good knowledge of the office pack, Office 365, advanced Excel

· 
Self-motivated and independent professional

· 
Excellent communication skills

· 
Authorized to work in France
