ENGIE are recruiting for a Planned Maintenance Electrician to be based at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth . This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Support the Estates Management in the provision of a 24 hour maintenance service within the Portsmouth Hospital Trust.

· 
Carry out PPM's and remedials on various electrical and mechanical hospital equipment such as but not limited to RCD's, RCBO;s, AHU's, Emergency Lighting, Pumps and Motors.

· 
To work safely on ELV / LV and generated electrical systems in accordance with HTM and all electrical statutory regulations i.e. The Electricity at Work Act 1989, and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

· 
After suitable training and guidance diagnose faults, repair and maintain complex equipment in accordance with Health Technical Memorandum (HTM's) and other specialised hospital equipment.

· 
To work as part of a multi-skilled team providing an efficient estates service.

· 
Undertake any training as required

· 
Promote a culture of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners and to liaise with other departments regarding maintenance issues if required.

· 
To adhere to Company policies and procedures

· 
To carry a radio to facilitate immediate response.

· 
Ability to work in a challenging hopsital environment, in sometimes adverse conditions.

· 
To observe statutory and other relevant requirements at all times in particular those relating to the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations and Electrical IEE regulations.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  One of either C & G 236 Parts A & B, C & G 2360 Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or B Tech Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship, essential.
·  17th/18th Edition IEE Regulations, desirable.
·  C & G 2391 Inspection and Testing, desirable.
·  Building maintenance and systems, essential.
·  Basic competence wit IT and PDA's, essential.
·  Working in a hospital environment, desirable.
·  Working on specialist hospital equipment, desirable.
·  Knowledge of other trades, desirable.
·  Knowledge of HTM's, desirable.
