ENGIE are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to be based at Pinderfields and Pontefract . This is a fixed term role for 3 mouths the role is working full-time 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.
5 over 7 to include some evenings and weekends

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

To provide a safe, hygienic, nutritious and timely food service for patients. Assisting in the delivery of a high standard of food service which meets the requirements of food hygiene legislation, Trust and Company Food Safety Policies and national standards as dictated by the government’s national plan.
To work under the direction of the Catering Supervisor (IP), the Catering Assistant

provides a quality, front of house service whilst being courteous and caring to patients, visitors and all Trust users.

The post holder may be required to undertake any other duties commensurate with their knowledge and experience.

The post holder may be required to work a range of shifts, including bank holidays.

This job description is not an exhaustive list. It is also subject to change in light of service developments and in consultation with the post holder and his/her manager.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Level 2 Food safety, customer service (desirable)
·  Experience working in a similar environment Training and Education

·  The post holder must be willing to undertake mandatory training as appropriate to the job.
·  Ensure training and refresher training undertaken in Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and Trust/Company policies and procedures.
·  Develop and demonstrate an understanding of any specific dietary requirements to meet patient’s needs.
