ENGIE are looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Manchester. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic towards your role, you will also be site based and could be expected to travel by your own means within the employers operating area. The working hours for this role are 8am – 4pm, however we do require flexibility to meet business needs.

What is your day to day?

•To assist and carry out project defined electrical work to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager

• Material co-ordination

•Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site based documentation

•Adhere to Company quality standards to include:

•Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship

•To attend all relevant training courses including all SHEQ courses arranged by the employer including Tool Box Talks

•Making repairs and restoring damaged parts

•Maintain and care for all company tools

•Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks

•Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day

•To achieve all units laid down by the C.I.T.B. National Vocational Qualifications to achieve a standard in electrical installation acceptable to the company

•Carry out electrical installation tasks

•To work in accordance with any training and instructions given and bring to the attention of the employer any shortcomings and defects in the management systems and protective measures

•4 GCSE’s at grades A* - C or equivalent
