POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Manufacturing Engineering Project Leader

We are looking for a talented and innovative project leader for our growing manufacturing engineering team. He/she will participate in manufacturing engineering projects involving the plants belonging to EMEA sector.

Robotization and Digitizion will be our main challenges and targets from 2017 onwards so there will be a strong effort in involving the manufacturing engineering project leader in  robotization and digitization projects among our EMEA plants. He/she will work cross functionally in order to achieve our innovation targets

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive robotization and digitization project among our EMEA plants
• Industrialize new products, according to Electrolux EPM process. Project Leader for Industrialization
• Drive manufacturing engineering projects
• Interface with R&D, Quality and Plants for manufacturability analysis
• Lead PFMEA
• Define the Project Master plan with timing and investments
• Take care of Manufacturing Engineering deliverables for new Product Projects
• Lead production feasibility analysis in virtual environments and ensure implementation of digital manufacturing solution
• Research and facilitate innovative solutions for smart and optimal manufacturing processes
• Analyses production capacity, develop plan to shape manufacturing set-up according to strategy
• Perform feasibility studies on new plant set-up, Define and improve manufacturing equipment.
• Rationalize plant layout
• Prepare technical specification for new equipment and tooling.
• Support efficiency and improvement programs, in cooperation with Plant Manufacturing Engineering.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Technical University preferably Industrial, technological or mechanical engineering experience
• At least 3 years experience in Project management and new product introduction

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• IT knowledge (at least a basic knowledge in CAD system is requested)
• Strong digital attitude and innovation mindset
• Solid and deep in engineering knowledge
• Experience or high personal interest in industrial engineering activities
• Good analytical, methodical and problem solving skills. PDCA working approach.
• Keen on working in multicultural teams
• Strong communication skills, openness to change, easily adaptable in new working environment
• Goal-oriented, Self-motivated, Strong Continuous Improvement mind-set
• Highly organized; capable of working across multiple projects
• Strong willingness and motivation to learn and work in production equipment and machine application

REQUIRED LANGUAGES:
• English is mandatory
• Italian is a plus
