Summary

·  Perform project work related to the support of the Client
·  Regularly leads in the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer.
·  Coordinates implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains: networks, applications or platforms.
·  Provides advanced technical consulting and advice to others on proposal efforts, solution design, system management, tuning and modification of solutions. Provides input to DXC strategy moving forward.
·  Attend and provide input during account and client meetings.
·  Work with multiple support groups, global teams and other relevant service providers to resolve any issues with the infrastructure.
·  Following ITIL processes, including but not limited to Incident, Problem, Change, and Release management.
·  Provide regular updates to the management team on day to day issues
 Part of on-call rotation for after hour's support which includes scheduled infrastructure changes as well as troubleshooting a wide variety of servers and network related issues.
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

·  Experience with VMware Products Required: ESX, ESXi, vCenter, Update Manager
·  Experienced Windows Server Support Administrator Windows servers
·  Prefer experience with both Dell and HP servers, and HP Synergy Blades (Cisco chasis is plus).
·  Experience preferred to have been in large, datacenter environments
·  Well-rounded understanding of related infrastructure such as Hitachi and EMC storage, Cisco UCS
·  Understanding of network design and troubleshooting topics including TCP/IP networks, DNS, VLANs, firewall rules, and routing, packet capturing, etc.
·  Experience with DXC Enterprise Systems incident, problem, and change management processes in Service Center or equivalent experience
·  Experience with DXC Enterprise Systems standard tools or equivalent
·  Excellent communication skills, Initiative, fast learner, responsive
·  Able to write team documentation in English
·  Understanding of Citrix XenApp 4.5, 5.0 and 6.5 administration, publishing applications and managing user profiles.
·  Familiar with systems management concepts, processes & standards, capacity/performance management & tuning, and storage & network management
·  Familiar with SOX and PCI compliance and reporting requirements
·  Scripting/Programming skills are desirable
·  Certifications such as VCP, VCAP, MCSE, and ITIL are desired

·  Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
·  Based on Government/Federal regulations must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·  Work includes after hours support for projects, changes, and on-call responsibilities.
