Job Description Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our DXC Innovations team, to help us fully realize our Healthcare Payer Platform SaaS offering. This key role will work with our product architects as well as cloud operations teams, to solve for the demands of operating a multi-tenant SaaS solution for our state Medicaid and other clients. The responsibilities of the DevOps architect position will begin with a focus on configuration management and deployment automation, and over time expand to include the full CI/CD pipeline. We are a .NET development shop, hosting services on Azure and AWS. We need a multi-disciplinary SME who’s able to draw from their first-hand SaaS and DevOps experience, to:
- collaborate with architects implementing the right technologies and design patterns, aligned with our corporate PlatformDXC offerings where possible
- perform hands-on technical work to help deliver the right tooling and integration

Job Description

Responsibilities

·  Serve as SME on DevOps practices and technologies
·  Support the establishment and maturation of DevOps internal practices, especially for SaaS operations
·  Support the implementation of  Configuration Management automation and DevOps pipeline tools in support of product development and client needs
·  Work closely with all levels of the organization – developers, senior leaders, operations staff, clients
·  Implement solutions for automation of application build, test, deployment, configuration management, and orchestration
·  Advance and improve DevOps processes, procedures, and environments

Qualifications

·  7+ years of experience in technical leadership and architecture roles, with deep experience with enterprise-class software implementations and how DevOps can enable both development and operational efficiencies.
·  Multi-disciplinary experience with software and cloud administration background in a variety of environments
·  Automation experience in build, test, configuration and deployment in complex environments
·  Configuration Management and Release Management experience
·  SCM experience, automated build experience, CI experience in multiple tools
·  Scripting experience in multiple languages
·  Knowledge of monitoring tools (Application Insights, New Relic. etc.)
·  Knowledge of development concepts
·  Knowledge of branch strategies
