Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Provide after-school tutoring classes to students from kindergarten to high school in French using appropriate teaching strategies.

Provide English language classes to children using appropriate teaching strategies.

Provide English language classes to adults using appropriate teaching strategies.

Prepare lessons and materials for classes.

Create hands-on learning experiences for children and adults.

Le Profil

Experience

Experience working with Kindergarten-Grade 8 students, particularly in the early primary classroom.

Experience working with adults in an educational setting.

Experience teaching English As A Second Language (ESL) using second language
acquisition methodology and practices.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Higher diploma of type BAC +2 minimum.

French language skills with native like fluency (Level C1 minimum).

English language skills with native like fluency (Level C1 minimum).

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsive to student needs.

Flexibility in taking on extra tasks.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac environment.
