What about Nutricia?

Nutricia is enjoying double digit growth in production volumes as the medical nutrition products have a strong market share. The business is operating within a mature market but there is still scope for expansion both within local and global markets, and the emphasis in the coming years with be on maintaining volume growth, whilst ensuring we drive our cost targets in the right direction.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of IPC QC Analyst. This role is responibile forperforming routine Chemistry testing and In Process control analysis. You will be responsible for various duties and tasks within the laboratories. These include sample preparation using analytical methods, calibration and maintenance of equipment and reporting results into a Lims system; all using good laboratory practice. In order to be successful candidates must be qualified or currently studying Chemistry or a relevant discipline. Critical to the role is a strong eye for detail. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships, a self starter and be able to prioritise your own workload.In return you’ll get a market leading benefits package and circa £25,000 salary, dependant on your experience.

What would I do on a day to day basis?

·  Testing of bulk product & 1st Can samples via rapid analytical techniques such as XRF and NIR.
·  Planning daily/weekly workload.
·  Providing advice from a quality perspective to production.
·  Providing support to other IPC functions. i.e. Sensory/Lab Admin
·  Performing investigation work for out of spec results and production related issues, problem solving.
·  Weekly and daily calibration and maintenance of equipment.
·  Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in IPC lab including Damaway.
·  dGMP Audits/H&S audits.
·  Use of lab based software (LIMS).
·  Method development

What skills does the ideal candidate have?

·  Qualified or currently studying Chemistry or a relevant discipline
·  Prior experience of working within In Process control environment or Chemistry laboratory
·  Competent in formulation, process & equipment along with food sciences and problem solving
