HR Management Trainee

As HR Management Trainee, you are part of the divisional Alpro HR team, based in Ghent, and will be trained in several aspects of HR, with a strong focus on HR Analytics, HR Systems, Compensation & Benefits and divisional HR projects.

You will shift towards a new area of HR on a regular basis.

HR Analytics

Data is key for decision making! In this role, you will be trained to become a key expert in HR data reporting & analytics – so will know the ins and outs of all our HR processes.

·  You will centrally manage HR reports, dashboards, scorecards… in close cooperation with the HR Management team and HR Business Process Owners (Talent, Learning, Compensation & Benefits, International Mobility, Admin & Payroll).
·  You will regularly update existing reports and co-build & maintain new (standard or tailor-made) reports to ensure that all stakeholders always have the correct information available.
·  You will operate as gate keeper of standard HR indicators definitions and support Business Process owners on KPI definitions & data analyses.

HR Information Systems (HRIS)

At Alpro and Danone, our centralised HR system is thé heart of the HR organisation to manage all our HR processes, data, work flows, etc.!

In this role, you will be trained to become a key expert with respect to HR Information Systems, technologies, interfaces, etc.

·  You will co-drive the execution of our HRIS roadmap -fostering efficiency & simplification- and contribute to the ongoing integration into the Danone system landscape
·  You give trainings , prepare training materials, share best practices… to ensure that there is an overall good understanding and use of our HR Information Technologies and safeguard overall data quality.
·  You will take up a key role in communicating between internal and external stakeholders and in managing changes from a system/technologies point of view.
·  You will support the Alpro HR teams to efficiently work with existing HR tools (SuccessFactors, Cornerstone On Demand…) and link with the Danone IT teams responsible for the global HRIS landscape.
·  You will support HRIS related projects and contribute to the functional analysis, considering relevant HR requirements, and the successful deployment & organizational embedment.
·  Where relevant, you can be asked to manage change requests, anticipate and communicate system upgrades, co-build regular data quality audits, schedule and perform maintenance activities, set-up & deploy small scale implementations.

Compensation & Benefits

Curious about what compensation & benefits actually is, and how it works exactly? This role will give you a deep dive in our processes and will expand your knowledge.

·  You will learn all about Compensation & Benefits mainly through supporting the more large-scale reward processes, such as performance management review, annual salary review, bonus objective-setting, etc.

This will involve support in terms of process definition and preparation, alignment with key stakeholders, preparing communication/training materials, process-follow-up, data analysis & consolidation for management review.

HR Projects

You will also be able to get a glimpse of the other side of HR via several projects.

Based on the needs of the organization you can be asked to contribute to specific HR-related projects in different other domains (linked to Learning, Talent Management, engagement surveys, change management projects…) to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budgetary constraints.

About you

·  You hold a master’s degree (preferable in Commercial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, etc.).
·  You have strong analytical skills and are a quick learner.
·  A first working experience is a plus, not a must.
·  You have a strong affinity with numbers, processes and systems.
·  You have good communication skills and are fluent in English and Dutch.
