Poste et missions:
o Define the best Logistic Layout for the depot in terms of location and flow
- includes definition and design of logistics areas (inbound, outbound, packaging/packing warehouse areas, material and data flow)
o Have the knowledge of and implement together with the depot WCL/Lean Manufacturing standards, e.g.:
1.Lead Kaizen activities
2.Drive process/ flow optimization (from supplier to shelf and from parts order to delivery), develop mid
- and long-term depot logistics strategy (with Global Logistics Engineering)
3.Ensure compliance with Company-wide standards
o Train depot team members on Logistics and Lean practices/ WCL skills and knowledge, work with HR to develop training/ development plans for depot team
o Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions for logistics functions/ activities
o Establish/monitor Continuous Improvement Process
o Establish Logistics Cost Deployment and develop logistics budget
- define investments and projected savings
o Evaluate process changes (actual and projected) in terms of logistics cost
o Evaluate product changes in the phase of design/ engineering in terms of logistics cost (in terms of process/ inventory)
o Define work-plans, timelines and deliverables and monitor project status incl. status reporting and manage issue resolution and escalation and ensure delivery of project targets for logistics improvement projects
o Monitor & control costs and service level/ monthly reporting of logistics KPI (inventory, handling etc)
Profil:
- Degree in Industrial or Logistics Engineering Professional practitioner experience in the introduction and implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Supply Chain Management (5 yrs.)
- Knowledge and experience in of Lean Manufacturing, , e.g., the Toyota Production System, kaizen methods, TP, TQM, policy deployment, JIT, Kanban, 5S, Poka Yoke; VSM,
- Fluent in English, written and oral
- Strong Leadership/Interpersonal Skills
- Working knowledge in WCM/Lean Cost Deployment Methods, Finance and Economic issues
- International Business
- Material Planning/PFEP
