RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role

You will join a team of several Algo traders to help them in the development of our new electronic market making franchise of fixed income ETFs. The goal is to become a significant liquidity provider for our clients in that space, by leveraging on our current set up and the range of products we are already offering.

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

Assist traders in the development of our ETFs trading algorithms
Run series of back-tests to optimize the calibration of our models
Implement and test new methodology to create market signals
Create and maintain the database of all US corporate bonds in our system
Follow up on the development done by the different IT teams around us
Implement solution to describe pnl allocation among different sectors/axes

PROFILE REQUIRED

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

Your profile

Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance.

You ideally have a previous experience in Risk Management, Financial Control Systems or Operations in a Capital Markets context. Product experience in Fixed income and FX areas of Capital Markets is a plus.

You are fluent in English.

You are proficient with MS Office and VBA.

More specifically, you will be joining the fixed income electronic market making team based in New York, team currently offering liquidity to our clients in US treasuries, Interest Rate derivatives and several futures trading at the CME or ERIS exchanges.
