WHAT DOES AN EFFICIENCY ANALYST DO?
As efficiency analyst you will contribute to our energy transition by chasing energy losses and unefficient chemical processes (air separation, reforming, hydraulics). Within our Performance team in Brussels you will deploy an analytics models for automated deviation catch. As part of our VIE graduate programme you will be trained by peers to understand the Air Liquide operations and production methods, its network of industrial assets (plants, pipelines, energy sourcing) and the contribution of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence in the Air Liquide business. In particular, you will
- Join our Digital & Data Science team to work on a strategic initiative with Agile methodology,
- Perform workshops with our operation experts and site management,
- Get trained on Analytics tools & Real Time Data Management tools (Osisoft suite)
- Work with experts to deliver prototypes and industrialized applications for operation teams.

WHAT ARE THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS-
The ideal candidate has a Master Degree in Engineering (or Science) with some additional data analysis or industrial chemistry process orientation. The Analyst must work in a team, handle data, design models and analyse complex issues to deliver value. Most of your training will be done on the job and with the support of our internal expert and project managers.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Industrial Chemical Process knowledge or affinities
- Team player, Project management: you will work in an agile project mode within multidisciplinary, international and junior/senior team members.
- Taste for new challenges and Digital transformation
- Analytical Skills: You will need to be able to use data and analytical tools to build models and support decision making.
- Communication Skills, Language: English, French and/or Dutch are real plus
- Willing to take ownership: in this challenging project, it is crucial that the Analyst feels responsible & accountable of his/her deliverables
