Job description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining Chanel image of counters by counter design coordination / install / maintain, visual merchandising activities in both travel retail and local market filed.
Under marketing plan and budget to provide promotional activities to support sales campaign.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Visual arrangement s in counters /boutiques
· Transparency – according to marketing plan, work closely with supplier, marketing and sales people to make arrangement on transparencies in counters, both in quality and in controlling of expense.
· Back shelf & in-case display – according to marketing plan and principle from Chanel SA, produce the guideline of display to counters and supervise the display in counters/boutiques.
· Management of Display Material – Supervise the “assets” of display material in counters. Give clear instruction to counters on the matters of: a) which display material should be destroyed; b) controlling the usage of dummy in counters; c) distribute display materials in counters, stock situation of display materials in each counter/boutique.
· Coordinate with MKT with campaign budget in item ordering and add on for local request.
· Prepare counter by counter plan
· Prepare yearly VM budget, control and process payment
· Prepare campaign report after two weeks launch on counters
· Coordinate with CAP VM in campaign guideline, challenge and creative in develop better visual image in counters
2. Promotion/ Event/ Podium activities
· Site survey and prepare report
· Design brief to internal / Vendors
· In accordance with marketing plan, design outpost, window and in-store promotion for the need of sales.
· Supervise the construction of outpost, window, in-store promotion to get the best quality.
· Estimate and control the cost in keeping with budget.
· In line with the result of negotiate with department stores, supervise the in-stall and withdraw of various promotional tools in department stores.
· Follow up payment
· Project report to CAP
· Manager podium/ event furniture storage location, condition and its quality.
3. Others
· Support other division in joint promotion.
· Material survey, cost anysis
Academic / Professional Qualifications
· College graduates
· Major in VM related fields will be a plus
Work Experience
· Min. 3-year of work experience for VM function
· Work experience in cosmetics, luxury or retail industry is a plus
Required Competencies
· Able to interact positively and productively with vendors, suppliers and other colleagues
· Pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
· Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel / word / power point and adobe illustrator, photo shop
· Capable to communicate in English
