Job description



CHANEL is currently looking for a full-time Stock and Operations Support for our Yorkdale Boutique.

As a Stock and Operations Support, your role will perform a variety of clerical and administrative functions to assist the Boutique Director.

Main R esponsibilities

·  Ensure to update documents and maintain documentation accuracy in the system
·  Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
·  Keep records of property loaned to the customers and merchandise sent to cleaners
·  Compile, consolidate information from various reports of the boutique to head office
·  Communicate the status of repairs for customers and sales staff
·  Support boutique operations such as gift wrapping, and other ad hoc duties as assigned 
·  Open/ close the registers and transmit the information to head office.
·  Provide cashier counter service to customers and reconcile payments against daily sales at the Boutique 
·  Handle payment transactions 
·  Reconcile daily transactions with cash and other forms of balances. Ensure adequate cash flows in counters. 
·  Handle returns such as exchanges, refunds and credit notes according to the company policies and guidelines.
·  Input transaction and client information in system and invoices accurately
·  Greet customers and provide cashier service and product information to customers as required. 
·  Ensure an adequate stock of office supplies and to purchase when needed.
·  Receiving and checking of all incoming and outgoing goods 
·  Ensure receipt of goods
·  Assisting with the preparation & organization of inventories 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:

·  1 - 3 years of previous stock and operations support experience, luxury retail service environment preferred
·  Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills. Knowledge with luxury retail operations is an asset
·  Excellent and effective communications skills with colleagues and customers
·  Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
·  Proven ability to work as a team player with strong organization and follow-up skills (essential)
·  Professional presentation and behavior
·  Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
