UAT Tester (IVR / Call Centre)

Position Description
The Banking Services Division of CGI is seeking experienced UAT Testers with financial sector experience for a major Call Centre migration project from IVR to the Cloud.

Your future duties and responsibilities
-Developing high quality test cases that demonstrate functionality, suitable for manual execution or translation into automated testing scripts
-Executing test cases as designed
-Reviewing, recording, and documenting test case execution results produced either manually or through automation
-Compare execution results against expected results
-Opening and maintaining variance records for suspected failed test cases assigned to them
-Providing daily status on progress to their testing Stream Lead
-Escalating testing issues in a timely manner to their testing Stream Lead
-Attending and participating in daily testing team briefing meetings
-Attending and provide input at daily defects’ triage meetings

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
-3-5 years of hands-on UAT testing of the functional requirements of applications/systems in different technologies
-Some level of exposure to IVR call centre systems (highly desired)
-Exposure to and understanding of industry accepted testing (QA) best practices
-Must have worked in financial sector
-JIRA functionality and employment (highly desired)
-Some experience in the employment of automated testing tools (Cyara preferred)
-Member of medium-sized testing teams (5-10 members)
-Worked on large-scale Programs/Projects
-Excellent communicator and team player
-Available to work some extra hours and weekends as required
-Able to work at multiple sites as required in greater GTA area (Mississauga / Downtown)
