Our Systems Integration Team is looking for a systems engineer to take a leading role in an upcoming project.

The role involves providing SME insight and an understanding of the technical requirement and business need. This will provide technical assurance to the initial D&M phase of activity for the delivery of development environments by a third-party vendor.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The systems engineer will be expected to support and lead technical engagement meetings, ensure compliance with the requirement, promote best practice, and conduct detailed reviews of the proposed design. Prior knowledge of ICT delivery in Defence is essential for this role.

The position can be based in either our Bristol office or in Cambridgeshire.

Travel to Malvern will also be required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Hold a minimum of HLC clearance

• A solid track record of working within the Defence sector, with a proven knowledge of working with systems at AS and S, and an understanding of policies and standards including JSP 604

• Proven knowledge in the design, implementation and acceptance of complex ICT delivery projects

• A proven track record in security engineering and system accreditation in Defence, for systems at AS and S
